New Year and year in review

Well first off a Happy New Year to everyone and hope the holiday season was good to everyone. 2006 was a good year for FBMGHC being our first year. We participated in the WWKCs in April, May and June and Ran the first annual Hamilton Beach Cruise and Can-Am Pixie bike challenge in July. The cruise went better then i could have hoped for with approximately 30 riders riding 24 kustom bikes. Met Eric Hannan of Hannan customs, the Godfather of the Kustom bike scene John Brain, and the founding members of the soon to be FBM-GL, Bud and Chainsaw. As well as Pete from Papa Wheelies in Hamilton and his crew. August rolled around and we rode a couple of rides with the Papa crew on there weekly sunday cruises. Come September it was Island Invasion time....FBM-GHC stormed the Toronto Islands with our Friends from Toronto, the infamous Canadian 6 Pack from the Amsterdam FBI cruise. Again lots of unusal bikes and 3 pretty cool custom BBQ trailers. October brought the Halloween Cruise. Three rides in the space of 2 days. Met Heavymetal7spd and his son from NY and was good to meet Budz wife Missus Zilla and to see Chainsaw and Giggles again. Did a Saturday night ride thru downtown Oakville with 13 riders. We were unable to attend the FBM-GL Freeze your Dickens Off cruis due to surgery 3 days earlier but hope to make it for the 2007 version of the ride. We our currently workin on plans for our 2007 Hamilton Beach CRuise and Can-Am Pixie Challenge. Looks like this years installment will be bigger and better and hope to run it in conjunction with Oakvilles MidNight Madness event. I will post date when the become available. So to all the new people i have met thru 2006 i hope you have a prosperous and happy 2007.

Freeze your Dickens Off Cruise

Well our brother chapter FBM-Great Lakes had their inaugrial cruise in Holly Michigan on Dec 09 2006. Though FBM-GHC could not be there, the ride was a success and we are sorry we couldnt make it. To our Brothers at Great lakes congrats boyz. Hope we will be able to make your future rides.

Halloween Cruise

Well, The FBM-GHC Halloween cruise has come and gone, Other then the strong, sometimes over powering winds, the riding went very well. Met some new folks and was good seeing some old friends again. Hope to have some pics up soon. Thanks to all that joined us. We are now in the process of planning the 2nd Annual Hamilton Beach Cruise and Can-Am Pixie Bike Challenge. Hope to squeeze a few more rides in b4 the first snow flies. Till then ride safe and have fun.....

WWKC August 6th, 2006

So we hooked up with the regular Sunday cruise at Papa Wheelies in Hamilton for this ride, what a great ride! close to 30 riders on custom cruisers and choppers, cruisin the piers along the bay in Hamilton, finishin up with cold bevvies at williams topped it all off. Hopefully get some pics soon from someone ... keep on choppin' !!!

July 15th Hamilton Beach Cruise

Well, the big cruise has come and gone with great success! 23 custom bikes, 30 riders, 8 hours of fun in the sun topped off with the most intense pixie bike racing around. 2 evening cruises through downtown Oakville with Hannan Customs put the cherry on the cake .... here are some pics and video and stay tuned for a Halloween Freakbike Militia cruise!!!!!!!

April 2nd - World Wide Kustom Cruise

The first Sunday of each month has been coined by CBN members as the World Wide Kustom Cruise ... on this day kustom bike enthusiasts get together all over the world to ride.

FBMGHC will meet at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington, Ontario at 3 p.m. for this event

so here we go .. a little online record of the goings on of our little group of custom bicycle enthusiasts. First I want to shout out to Kenny and the Freaks in FLA for lettin us use the FBM name, and I hope we can live up to the Freakbike Militia world famous reputation .

to date we've had 2 rides, one in September 2005 and again in October 2005. some pics from these rides are in the gallery.

this year we hope to ride at least once a month, and are planning a super-cruise/family BBQ on Toronto Island in July 2006. we may even jump into a couple xmas parades next year and we have 3 or 4 cities' bike weeks in our sights.

stay tuned! and watch for a freakbike coming to a neighborhood near you!
